Crystal Head Vodka & Shooter

As promised from some time ago, I have finally managed to get around this beast of a beverage. As crazy as it sounds, waiting this long to finally post about this vodka had a unintentionally but very good side effect. More on this later.

Vodka, as said twice already before in the halls of Channel 13, is a beverage that has left a HEAVY mark in the world of Heavy Metal. Today we look at a Vodka that while never targeted the Legions of Iron Metalocity, its final result will captivate our attention for years to come (provided it doesn't go out of business). From Canada, I introduce you to Crystal Head Vodka.

Every good beverage has a tall tale to tell.

The bottle is in essence what sells this beverage to Metalheads. Even if you don't like the vodka, you can always give the spirit to somebody else in another bottle and you can keep the bottle to decorate your room, or use as a fish bowl, or to put in a mixed drink and have an awesome pitcher.

It's all in the details.

The entry to the intelligence of the Metal Universe. Drill not necessary.

Remember what I said from the beginning that my patience in opening this bottle paid off? Here it is, the Crystal Head Vodka Shot Glass (aka Crystal Vodka Bottle "Mini-me"). About 2 or 3 months coming back after the Barge to Hell, I went to one of the many liquor shops to buy some booze, when I stumbled upon the shot glass.

Like with its larger counterpart, the shot glass was not spared the "detailed" treatment.

This is one time a shot to the back of the head won't kill ya (maybe...).

If any of you played the videogame 1942/1943, there was a power-up that gave you 2 little side planes to help you battle the plethora of planes flying around trying to kill you. This is Crystal Head's Vodka version of such power-up. The special power? Drinking spirits from a skull out of a skull, and giving you the snazzy look of one of its creators.

The official Channel 13 Hand coming back in full force.

With the elixir of one of the Blues Brothers, it is time to face off with this beverage.

The vodka is on the rough side of textures, meaning, it will knock your taste buds to the back of your head. The quality is average, and the after taste is where the best part of this beverage comes in, as it has a vibrant layer as it goes down. Overall, the vodka has potential and if you don't mind the rougher edge of vodka, this beverage is up your alley.

Look, you know this had to happen at some point.

Horns up for a killer bottle with a decent spirit raging inside it.
