Dragonfly Dress Shirt Series, Part 2 : Allover Grim Reaper

As with any wardrobe, variety is mandatory because everyone knows the standard issue Metal Army uniform of the Size XL Black Shirt and Denim Jeans will not suffice in certain circumstances, and as seen in the last post of this series, only having 1 dress shirt will not be sufficient to prepare you for the oncoming onslaught of invitations to events/parties, unless you want to be a stereotypical Metalhead and be a hermit crab in your dungeon known as your room.

Introducing Part 2 of the Dragonfly Dress Shirt Series, the Allover Grim Reaper.

The Grim Reaper, many songs, albums, tattoos and even bands have had some kind of affiliation with the scythed gatekeeper of your end, and as for his credentials in the world of Metal, it is enough to fill graveyards from across the globe.

I purchased this shirt specifically for my company X-mas party, and to say it stood out definitely makes a statement of the typical attire of what my
colleagues wore.

The interesting part of this shirt is how all the Grim Reapers essentially have the same cloak on, but each seems to be having a moment of their own. One would be yelling at another one while another is coked up and than you have one that is asking the ever epical question of "what you are looking at".

As with many of Dragonflys other dress shirts, details were never overlooked and the buttons of this HEAVY shirt were not skipped on Deaths treatment. If in the event you have a woman in your hotel room who is raging with an estrogen laced orgasm and manages to rip your shirt off and lose a button in the process, there is an extra button to help you out in that predicament.

Now for the obligatory "backstage" of the dress shirt. Interestingly, it doesn't have much of a difference from the front part, so in case you stain it, you can just flip it inside out and nobody would be the wiser.

Here's a field test so you can see first hand what this shirt can do.

Some people at my company X-mas party were actually scared (In a sarcastic way of course.) of the shirt, which seems to have made the impact needed. The best part (Or worst part, depending on who approached me.) nobody died when they touched the shirt.

Excellent dress shirt to have if in the event you want the Grim Reapers presence minus the death that follows his arrival.

Dragonfly Dress Shirt Series, Part 1: Red Skull Stripes

Every once in a while, Metal fans need to dress up (and I don't mean in leather jackets with boots) for a special occasion (like a company X-mas party, a wedding, or a quinceañera), and that's where Dragonfly comes into the foray of fancy dressing. Keep in mind, while they have had some misses (like some Metal bands), every once in a while they have a very Metal dress shirt that will knock every bodies teeth off at said occasion. This is the first part of a series of posts showcasing Dragonfly's most Metal dress shirts.

The first one for Channel 13 is the Red Skull Stripe Dress Shirt. The reason why it's first is simple; it is the first one I bought. I purchased this shirt back in 2010 for my first trip to Las Vegas and to have as an alternative form of clothing
.

The best part of this shirt is that it doesn't hold back on the boldness, and as you can see, it definitely makes its statement very heavily in a sea of blood and skulls (sounds like something off of a album cover, or a kickass song title).

Here's the inside out of the shirt, so you can go "backstage".

The shirt comes with an extra button if in the event you decided to take this beyond it's limit and straight into the pit.

Now it's time for me to model the shirt as best as a Metal Legion can.

The interesting part of the Vegas trip in question is when I wore it to the Bite show, I got a good reaction from the staff and the attendees and it definitely fit perfectly with the show. If they only would have allowed me on stage to be part of the gig, that would have made for an even better memory. Oh well.

Overall, great shirt to have in the closet in case you have a event to go that requires some sophistication without lacking on the razor's edge of Metal \m/
