When asked why Johan left Amon Amarth, his band mates indicated it was due to the ever changing environment of Heavy Metal that has spawned many different forms of the music and the tours they were packaged with other bands of the multiple genres that caused Johan a great deal of confusion, grief and acts of violence. While Johan Hegg may not be a star player, his viking prowess has allowed the A's to hack and slash their way to the World Series and claim the title. Johan's future in the world of baseball is assured and already has a place in the Baseball Hall of Fame, even though he is new in comparison to the others who earned their spot after their retirement.
